First of all,think of what you’d like to be some day. A teacher ? A doctor ? A writer? Don’t afraid of dreaming of big and great .Since you are young , you can dream of doing anything and becoming anyone in the future. What’s more , never ignore the power of knowledge. 十、比赛流程及其规则：

（一）演讲主题：What We Cannot Afford To Lose

（二）本次比赛分为两个阶段：初赛、决赛。

1.初赛：自愿报名并选出前20名进入决赛。

（1）比赛内容：先进行命题演讲（限时3分钟），命题演讲结束后，评委提问1—2

个问题，选手回答限时1分钟。(超时扣分，根据现场情况决定)

（2）评委组成：评委人数不少于3人，以保证比赛的规范性、公平性与公正性。

（3）比赛形式：参赛选手按到场时间顺序进行演讲。

2.决赛：

（1）参赛选手为初赛选出的前20名同学

（2）比赛由三部分组成：

A.先进行命题演讲（限时3分钟），命题演讲结束后，评委提问1—2个问题，选手回答限时1分钟。（命题演讲的题目仍是本次大赛的主题）

B.中场休息（前10位选手），观众互动环节

C.即兴演讲（选手准备30秒，回答限时2分钟）；即兴演讲是现场抽题现场回答。然后评委们用英语提问，可以是与主题有关的或是演讲者在演讲过程中涉及的问题或是评委感兴趣的问题，参赛者用英文回答。

附录 :

评委从演讲内容、语言表达、形象风度、综合印象四部分对演讲选手进行评分。满分为100分。评委打分后去掉一个最高分和一个最低分，汇总后取平均分，精确到小数点后两位，若出现同分，则精确到后三位，依此类推。

一、演讲内容：50分。要求演讲内容紧扣主题，主题鲜明、深刻，格调积极向上，语言自然流畅，富有真情实感。

二、语言表达：20分。要求脱稿演讲，声音洪亮，口齿清晰，语速适当，表达流畅，激情昂扬。讲究演讲技巧，动作恰当。超时扣5分。

三、形象风度：20分。要求衣着整洁，仪态端庄大方，举止自然、得体，体现朝气蓬勃的精神风貌；上下场致意，答谢。

四、综合印象：10分。由评委根据演讲选手的临场表现、观众反映做出综合演讲素质的评价。

十一、评奖办法

此次比赛设一等奖1名,二等奖2名,三等奖3名，优秀奖若干名。获奖选手将获得由举办方提供的证书和奖品。
