为帮助学生们理清思路, 教师同时给出5个小问题帮助他们思考 (题目见后) 。

设计说明:这5个问题是基于课本第33页3b中4个问题的再创造和升华。3b中的问题仅是复习间接引语, 而笔者设计的这些问题不仅需要用到间接引语, 同时还可以从回答中归纳出志愿者工作的意义, 巧妙地将知识目标和情感目标一起实现, 一箭双雕。具体如下:

设计说明:一篇好的课文和对其深入的解读能对学生们的价值观、情感态度产生良性、正面的影响, 原先的坐标点会否朝左侧移动是此课时的情感目标有否达到的直接体现。

针对八年级学生在阅读学习中出现的两极分化现象,我们在英语阅读课堂中注重加强认知监控和调节,加强阅读方法、技巧、阅读策略的指导,并采取了分层次教学的策略,促使不同层次的学生展开积极有效地阅读;对词汇不过关,在阅读过程中有很大困难的学生,我们要求他们只要能使用略读的技巧归纳出文中主题,能选出正确的选项即可;而对已经掌握一些阅读技巧的学生,就要求他们利用猜测、推理、归纳、分析上下文等手段分析和解决阅读中的问题,根据问句写出简短的答句,并通过课外阅读材料来丰富自己的学习,且能经常或总是使用工具书查找信息。总之,在英语阅读课堂中,我们多层面地设计练习活动,考虑不同程度的学生参与课堂教学的可能性,创造适合每个学生的练习活动,无论在学习内容还是在参与形式上,让不同层面的学生都有一个可锻炼、可自我展示的机会。

有人说,一节课,老师最多讲15分钟,剩下的要么开展活动,要么让学生自学。新目标英语中每单元至少有两篇阅读材料,我们现在一般都采用阅读教学法,通过发现问题、分析问题、解决问题来获得知识,强调自学与合作学习。那么,在课堂教学中教师到底要不要讲?究竟应该怎样讲?

一、精讲

1.在学生自主阅读之前,简明扼要地揭示阅读要求和重点。要教给学生求解与证实的策略。

2.对材料中的重点、难点和关键之处,在学生自读、自悟的基础上进行重点讲解,该挖掘处必挖掘、品味,该讲深讲透的地方必须讲深讲透。

3.当学生在材料理解上遇到疑难时教师要鲜明地讲,从而为学生解难释疑,让学生正确理解、领悟材料内容。在学习新的语法知识方面也要重视学生参与,而且要尽量使语法这个比较枯燥的内容变得有趣味性。

4.当学生在合作学习中不能抓住要点进行有效合作时,教师要进行提示性讲解,以使合作有效、深入。

1.视图复述。这是初中英语阅读的基本要求,即让学生结合简笔画或挂图,根据关键词句,用自己的话把文章的主要情节和内容简明扼要地表达出来。有时教师也可以反过来用:让学生根据内容画出简笔画,并把自己的画描述出来。

2.分角色表演。这个可以视阅读内容而定,也就是让学生将文章内容改编成对话形式,加上动作表演出来,让学生有亲临现场的感觉。
