教学过程:

本节为本章最后一节,重点从前面的声音的各种特性及其特点,引入在日常生活中的应用。

声与信息

声呐(SONAR)是英文soundnavigationandranging?(声音导航与测距)的缩写。对声呐的系统研究与一艘著名的轮船--泰坦尼克号有关。19泰坦尼克号首次出航即触礁沉没,这件事震惊世界,随即有人提出用声学方法遥测航道上的冰山。紧接着在第一次世界大战中,出于探测敌方潜水艇的需要,对声呐的研究得到了进一步发展。通过这些历史事实引入下文,可能会引起学生的极大兴趣。

在讲蝙蝠的声呐系统之前,可以先回顾一下第一节声速的概念,通过一个简单的计算题使学生了解根据回声到来的时间,蝙蝠可以确定目标的位置。

课本图1.5-4是B超图像。在做B超检查时,通常是将一束超声波垂直发射进入人体。超声波在传播时,碰到组织分界面(不同内脏器官分界处、内脏与骨骼分界处以及异物与组织交界处)时就会产生反射。反射波会在同一位置被记录,根据反射波滞后于发射波的时间差,可以知道分界面在体内的深度。如果不断改变发射探头的位置,就可以得到与体表相垂直的纵切面的图像。?

声与能量演示

演示声波递能量时,用可乐瓶自制的教具演示,效果很明显。自制教具的做法是:去掉可乐瓶的瓶底,给开口处蒙上橡皮膜并扎紧。对着火焰敲橡皮膜,由于膜的振动,压缩空气。靠空气的挤压,可将烛焰吹灭。

超声波清洗精细机械,主要依靠空化效应。超声波在清洗液中疏密相间地向前传播,对液体产生拉伸和挤压作用,使液体内产生数以万计的微小气泡。这些气泡迅速产生,又迅速闭合,形成的瞬间高压,超过大气压的1000倍。连续不断的高压就像一连串小爆炸不断地冲击物件表面,使物件的表面及缝隙中的污垢迅速剥落,从而达到物件表面净化的目的。超声波清洗方式超过一般的常规清洗方法,特别是对表面比较复杂的工件(如钟表等精密机械的零件表面凹凸不平),或对清洁度有较高要求的产品(如电子元器件等),使用超声波清洗都能达到很理想的效果。

(5)population意为“人口”,作主语时,谓语动词要用单数形式。另外,population可以用large, great以及small来修饰,但不能用many, much来修饰。例:

The population of Australia is smaller than that of Canada. 澳大利亚的人口比加拿大的少。

【拓展】询问某地人口的多少要用疑问词what,而不能用how many或how much。例:

What is the population of this city? 这个城市的人口是多少?

【动词】

(1)happen是不及物动词,意为“(偶然)发生”,主语一般是物,而不能是人。例:

This happens every night. 这件事每晚都发生。

【拓展】happen to sb./ sth. 表示“某人怎么了或某物怎么了”。例:

Can you tell me what happened to him yesterday? 你能告诉我昨天他怎么了吗?

(2)annoy意为“使……生气,使……烦恼”。例:

What annoys you most when youre shopping? 你在购物时,什么最让你恼火?

【拓展】① annoyed是形容词,意为“(某人感到)恼火的;恼怒的”。be/ get annoyed with sb.

意为“生某人的气”;be/ get annoyed to do sth.意为“做某事感到生气”。

② annoying也是形容词,意为“令人气恼的;令人心烦的”。

(3)receive意为“收到;得到”,常指收到礼物或来信等。

【拓展】表示“收到某人的来信”还可以表达为:get ones letter, get a letter from sb., hear from sb.等。

(4)cost意为“花费”,表示“某物花费某人多少钱”,其主语一般是物,常用于结构:“sth. cost sb. + 钱数”,通常没有被动语态。

【拓展】① spend指花费钱财、时间,其主语一般是人。常用于spend time/ money on sth.或spend time/ money in doing sth.的结构中,其中介词in常常省略。

② take常用于“It takes sb. some time to do sth.”结构,表示“某人花多长时间做某事”。

③ pay意为“支付”,主语是人。通常用sb. pay some money for sth.结构。

【形容词、副词】

(1)alone用作副词,意为“单独地;孤独地”,强调独自一人,没有别的同伴。例:

时光如流水,转眼间八年级下学期就已经接近尾声,回首本学期的教学工作,问心无愧,面对现实脚踏实地,展望未来信心百倍,八年级是一个关键时期,也是学生性格成型的时期,因此在教育教学中要时刻关注学生的动态使他们健康的成长。回首本期工作,特总结如下:

一、认真搞好备课。教学中,备课是一个必不可少,十分重要的环节,既要备教材、备学生,又要备教法。备课充分,能调动学生的积极性,上课效果就好。

二、培养学生良好的英语学习习惯

我校的学生来源全是农村的,学生对学习英语的气氛不是很浓,学习自觉性较差,主要表现在以下几个方面:

1、学过的单词,老师要求背出,学生总是借口其他作业太多,没时间背等,往后一拖再拖,即便能背出来,也是临时死记抢记出来的。加强对单词训练,尤其词组和短语的强化,要贯窜始终。

2、上过的新课,相应的配套练习,不自觉去独立完成,总需要老师再三强调。

3、死记硬背的东西多,联系实际的东西少,因此表面上看感觉还可以,但真正一考起试来,问题就出来很多,而且差距很大。经过几次考试下来,问题也出来了,我任教的一个班:尖子生只有几个,中等生断层,差生面特大。针对以上情况,要改变这种局面,我觉的要做的事很多。

首先,要培养学生良好的学习习惯,课前多预习,课堂45分钟让学生集中注意力听讲,把老师讲的内容真正听懂。不能似懂非懂。课后认真完成配套的巩固练习,不懂的地方,多向老师或成绩稍好的学生请教。

其次,学生学习要主次分明,主要学科课后时间分配相应的因当多一些,特别是对英语学科,因为它毕竟不是母语。基础不打好,以后想提高也难。

三,要灵活掌握学过的知识点,学习要讲究方法,举一反三,融会贯通,只有这样,学生才能把所学的知识串联起来,不容易忘记。

总之,要让学生明白,学习英语不是一天两天的事,是要靠平时慢慢积累起来的。

三、建设高效的课堂,努力提高驾驭课堂的能力。因为学生在课堂上的一举一动都会直接影响课堂教学,所以上课一定要设法吸引学生,不让其分心,上课内容力求丰富,现实。教态自然,讲课生动,难易适中照顾全部,就自然能够吸引住学生。另外,我每天都坚持保持充足的精神,让学生感受到一种积极上进的气氛。这样,授课就事半功倍。为了让学生真正参入到课堂中来,凡是学生自己能弄清楚的问题,都让学生自己解决,老师决不越俎代庖,课堂上尽量精讲、少讲把时间都留给学生。

四、加强课外辅导。英语学习是语言的学习。困此,除了课堂效果之外,还需要让学生多读,多讲,多练。为此,在早读时,我坚持认真了解早读情况,发现问题及时纠正。课后发现学生作业问题也及时解决,及时讲清楚,让学生即时消化。另外,对部分不自觉的同学还采取强制背诵等方式,帮助他们养成良好习惯,提高他们的英语学习能力。

总之,在英语教学中还有很多需要向同行们学习的地方,继续努力争取更大的进步。

一、学情分析

本班总共有57人,大多数学生都来自农村。经过一年半的英语学习,大部分学生都对英语有着浓厚的学习兴趣,在课堂上能够踊跃参与英语活动,能够听懂熟悉话题的语段和简短的故事,而且能够与老师或同学就熟悉的话题交换信息。但仍有一部分学生学习兴趣不高,基础较弱,在听、说、读、写等方面的基本技能未能掌握,连音标和单词的拼读都有问题,而且惰性很强,不能做好课前预习课后复习,学习没有计划性和策略性;不善于发现和总结语言规律,不注意知识的巩固和积累。因此本学期主要的教学重点以培优转差为主,抓基础教育,培养兴趣,调动学习积极性,以提高整体成绩,提高及格率和优秀率;同时,以巩固基本知识点,着重培养学生的阅读能力,综合运用能力和口头及写作能力。

这本英语教材总共有4个单元,每个单元有3个Topic。每个单元都围绕一个话题开展听,说,读,写活动。但教材容量过多,而且课文中的对话篇度太长,对于农村的学生来说很难读得朗朗上口。这就要求教师对教材进行整合或删减。

三、教学方法。

根据本班的学生特点,我主要采用情景交际法和任务型教法相结合。

四.教学目标:

全面提高学生学习英语的主动性和积极性,使他们树立起学习的信心和勇气,克服自卑的心理。力求每个学生学习进步,能力不断提高。

1、认真学习新课标和钻研教材,精心备课,认真上好每一节课。

工作计划

一、指导思想

以英语课程标准为宗旨,适应新课程改革的需要,面向全体学生,提高学生的人文素养,增强实践能力和创新精神。正确把握英语学科特点,积极倡导中国好课堂合作探究的学习方式。培养学生积极的情感态度和正确的人生价值观,提高学生综合素质为学生全面发展和终身发展奠定基础。

二、全期教学总目标

学生应有明确的英语学习动机和积极主动的学习态度。能听懂教师有关熟悉 话题的陈述并能用英语参与讨论。能与他人合作,解决问题并报告结果。在本学期中,我们初二英语教研组,力争超过五中,保持不低于八中。

三、本学期工作重点

本学期英语学科教研工作,要从中国好课堂改革为中心,围绕课改完善和深化学科教学常规,组织教师参加课改理论学习和培训,组织课改研究和专题研讨等系列活动,以促进教师转变教学观念,促进教师整体素质和学科教学质量的提高。在学科教学中渗透心理健康为教育,以提高小组合作学习的时效性为重点开展教研组的活动,争取能让每次的教研组活动能够达到教研的目的,使我们每一位参加的教师都有所收获。

四、具体措施

1、英语组的活动改变单一的听课和评课形式,增加教研组学习的新内容。

2、加强集体备课制度,教研组要积极组织集体备课,做到有计划、有目标、有实效。每周至少活动一次,时间还是固定在初三,要有活动记录,每次活动要提前制定中心发言人,定活动主题,不走形式,不敷衍了事,切实解决教学中的一些问题,努力提高课堂教学质量,完善教学。时间安排在每周下午第1、2节课。每位教师要按照教学规定完成我们的教学行为,要向课堂40分钟要质量。

3、准备积极开展丰富多彩的英语活动,提高学生兴趣,如:英语单词、听写比赛、朗读比赛、英语书写比赛、英语作业比赛、学唱英文歌等。

4、本学期继续坚持学生作文辅导,并继续坚持学生英语作文书写的检查力度,力争落实到每一个学生。

5、本学期继续坚持每天的英语单词小测,每周的英语检测、每月的英语圈考制度。

6、本学期坚持5、6号的个别辅导。再勉强全体学生的基础上培优补差。

7、本学期还要不断学习,加强自身素质和业务能力的提高,并争取让一部分青年教师走出校门。

总之,本学期我们英语教研组全体英语教师要认真的备课,努力工作,在杨主任的带领下,争取更好的成绩。

二、教学目的要求:本节课的课型为听说课。本节课继续上节课有关Li Hong 的情绪的话题进行讨论和学习,功能句有问候、分享感受、安慰和建议。语法内容仍然是原因状语从句。复习环节利用造句游戏复习系表结构和原因状语从句。SectionA-3是Helen写给Li Hong的安慰邮件,承接上节课的内容并与本节课SectionB-1a的对话内容相关,所以很适合作为Pre-listening的一部分。While-listening的环节依然设置了不同层次的听力练习,由浅入深地理解对话。并通过师生讨论的方式解决对话中的新词汇和语言点。Post-listening环节除了常规的朗读之外,本课设置了一个改写对话并加以复述的活动。目的是让学生更深入地理解对话并运用目标语言。
