关于端午节的起源有很多传说，其中纪念屈原的说法最为流行。屈原是中国古代伟大的爱国诗人，生于20xx多年前的战国时期的楚国。他为人正直，学识渊博，才华横溢，在楚国占有重要地位。因为主张坚决对抗秦国侵略，被攻击拒绝，被楚王赶出朝廷。屈原非常愤怒，在流放期间写了很多爱国诗词，最著名的是《离骚》。后来，秦军攻占了楚国的都城。楚失千里，尸横遍野。屈原心如刀割。他不想看到他的国家毁灭的悲惨景象。农历五月初五，他抱着眼泪跳进了洛江。他62岁。

人们喜爱屈原。当他们听到屈原自杀的消息时，他们划船到河边打捞屈原的尸体，但他们找不到。他们怕河里的鱼虾咬屈原的尸体，就把糯米装进竹筒里，扔进水里。他们想用糯米喂鱼虾来保护屈原的身体。从此以后，每年的五月初五，人们自发地来到河边悼念屈原，也在汹涌的波涛中划船，象征着人们争相打捞屈原的尸体，以此来寄托对屈原的哀思。久而久之，中国南方就形成了赛龙舟的习俗。因此，端午节成了纪念屈原的节日。

端午节的传统习俗是吃粽子。我们家有真正的粽子制作高手?我妈妈。每年端午节，我们全家都能吃到美味的粽子。母亲常说：粽叶包裹的粽子最香。因此，每年端午节，妈妈们都用芦苇叶包粽子。做粽子前，她做了准备：把芦苇叶放入水中，将准备好的糯米和大枣分别洗净。当芦苇的叶子凉了，她开始做粽子。她先拿了三片叶子，卷成一个圆锥，然后放一个枣进去，再放糯米进去，然后中间放几个枣。最后，她用线绑好叶子，包了一个粽子。她包的粽子又肥又大，像老佛爷睡觉。饺子包好后，我妈会用高压锅蒸40分钟，然后放上三四个小时，让味道变好，然后就可以吃了!我妈的粽子太香了，我一看就会大口吃下去。所以，每当我吃粽子的时候，我总是吃很多!

端午节除了吃粽子，还需要赛龙舟!

我最喜欢看龙舟比赛。几十个水手用桨划水，击鼓的水手士气高昂，敲得很重。“加油，加油!”体育场外的拉拉队充满激情，发出雷鸣般的喊声和欢呼声，水手们不得不更加努力地划船。整个龙舟比赛精彩而热烈。

在我的童年回忆里端午节给我的印象就是能够吃到美味的粽子，毕竟对于小孩来说粽叶的包装设计永远都是那么有吸引力，剪开缠线并撕开粽叶以后便能够看到里面的美味粽子，即便只是沾上些许白糖都能够让人对粽子的味道感到难以忘怀，正是因为有着这份情怀让我对每年的端午节都充满了期待，在我看来能够在端午假期吃上一份粽子也是令人感到愉悦的事情，而且后来我还在爷爷奶奶的教导下尝试自己包粽子，虽然粽叶并没有完全包好却也通过初次尝试让我体会到不一样的端午情怀，看似久远的回忆却让是我开启端午文化探索的开端。

后来随着年龄的增长让我了解到屈原的爱国故事并对此心生向往，这也让我意识到端午节背后的故事还有许多值得探索的地方，若是只将注意力放在粽子等食物身上无疑显得自己的做法过于肤浅了些，事实上当我对屈原有了更多的了解自然也会对当时的时代背景感到愤愤不平，与之相对应的则是对现在美好生活的珍惜以及努力学习，而且端午节的知识也有许多值得自己去学习的地方，我得保持对学习的专心并努力提升自己的成绩才行，只有能力得到提升以后才能够更好地弘扬端午节之类的传统节日。

The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is a significant holiday celebrated in China, and the one with the longest history. The Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated by boat races in the shape of dragons. Competing teams row their boats forward to a drumbeat racing to reach the finish end first.

The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs to attempts to rescue the patriotic poet Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan drowned on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese citizens now throw bamboo leaves filled with cooked rice into the water. Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings. The celebrations is a time for protection from evil and disease for the rest of the year. It is done so by different practices such as hanging healthy herbs on the front door, drinking nutritious concoctions, and displaying portraits of evils nemesis, Chung Kuei. If one manages to stand an egg on its end at exactly 12：00 noon, the following year will be a lucky one.

Dragon Boat race Traditions At the center of this festival are the dragon boat races. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward to the rhythm of beating drums. These exciting races were inspired by the villagers valiant attempts to rescue Chu Yuan from the Mi Lo river. This tradition has remained unbroken for centuries.

Tzung Tzu A very popular dish during the Dragon Boat festival is tzung tzu. This tasty dish consists of rice dumplings with meat, peanut, egg yolk, or other fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves. The tradition of tzung tzu is meant to remind us of the village fishermen scattering rice across the water of the Mi Low river in order to appease the river dragons so that they would not devour Chu Yuan.
