因此, 很多老师在高一, 高二, 高三都进行了一定的书面表达训练。但是书面表达的批改却成了老师的负担, 甚至就成了老师的“短文改错训练”。老师辛辛苦苦地划出了错误, 甚至一词一句改正了, 而学生往往是拿到了作业本看也不看就放起来, 根本没起到批改所应起的作用:督促学生思考、改正, 提高书面表达能力。下面笔者就自己的做法谈谈高中书面表达究竟该如何批改才能督促学生主动发现错误、及时改正错误, 培养学生英语书面表达的兴趣, 有效促进学生英语表达能力的提高。

基本模式为“明确评判标准———展示常见错误类型———学生自批——学生互批———老师审批———学生反思———师生交流——学生复写”。根据《普通高中英语课程标准 (实验) 》, 对高一、高二、高三各阶段的书面表达要求不同, 因此, 应制定不同的评判标准, 批改的重心也就不同了。

制定英语书面表达的评判标准并展示给学生。制定标准时:高一应侧重词的用法, 如动词的各种形式变化, 形容词、副词的选用, 名词的单复数, 冠词的正确选用等。另外高一阶段应以基本五大简单句训练为主, 不强调大量使用复合句。老师的评判标准就应注重词句的正确性上。高二应侧重句子的结构训练上, 如复合句, 非谓语动词的使用, 内容要点整合等。在高一高二训练基础上, 高三应侧重词的恰当选用, 强调符合英语语言规范, 同时注重短文的篇章结构, 行文要流畅;另外, 尤其要注意作者阐述自己对事物的看法时, 一定要符合逻辑, 不能闹笑话。记得有次让学生写“Planting flowers”, 有位学生写把种籽播下后, 第二天就发芽了, 几天之后就赏花闻花香了。英语表达没错, 但内容不合逻辑依然是大忌。

归纳总结学生在写英语书面表达时常见的错误, 并把这些错误和评判标准联系起来, 让学生在写书面表达时心中有"数。老师应详尽地列举出平时学生在英语写作中常见的共性的错误, 以便学生在自批、互批时参照, 加强针对性。

学生自批。向学生展示评判标准及常见错误, 要求学生认真自批, 规定用铅笔。发现错误时, 对照常见错误类型标上相应序号, 并进行改正。

学生互批。学生自批后, 互相交换进行互批, 用不同颜色的笔 (如写者用黑水笔, 改者可用圆珠笔) , 但不准用红色的笔。要求发现错误后, 同样标上错误类型, 但不要求改正。另外要求批改的同学在查找错误的同时, 也要注意看看自己写时有困难的地方, 别人是怎么处理的, 别人哪些词句值得自己借鉴。互批结束后, 本子返还给本人, 要求写的同学和改的同学互相讨论, 进行交流, 再一次改正后交给老师。

老师审批。老师应该对每一位学生的书面表达进行详细地批改。老师在检查自批、互批情况的基础上, 认真、细致地标出错误类型的序号, 根据评判标准打出分数。同时, 一定要划出写得好的地方。另外, 别忘了付上评语, 多肯定, 少批评。同样, 在高一、高二时, 评改学生的作文时, 应该把重点放在拼写和语法结构上, 即英语语言表达的规范上。而到了高三就不应该把重点只放在拼写和语法结构上, 也应注重它所表达的思想及表达方式, 看学生对材料的分析是否正确、有新意, 文章是否切中题目, 等等。批改作文时切不可仅判个分数, 还要有评语。在评语中学生的作文立意好的要表扬, 遣词造句精彩的也要表扬, 也就是说多找学生闪光的地方, 这是很重要的。如果一位老师的评语精彩, 学生就会仔细阅读评语, 并仔细看老师点到的地方。觉得有所收获后, 自然就会渴盼着下一次的书面表达。

学生反思。老师集体批阅后, 要求学生拿到作业本后, 仔细斟酌老师标出错误或不妥的地方, 并进行改正。

师生交流。如学生对老师标出错误的地方有疑问、不解、不认可, 可找老师面谈或和老师进行书面交流。老师再在全班讲评, 列举值得肯定、借鉴的词句或段落, 或总结多种表达方式。

学生复写。要求学生再一改再改的基础上复写此篇书面表达。经老师再次批阅后, 读熟并尽可能背诵。

俗话说:“文章不怕千遍改。”学生进行英语写作也一定要进行反复修改, 修改是写好作文的前提。因此, 学生虽然写的是一篇作文, 但是经过如此往复的修改, 每修改一次就是一次提高, 一次升华。这种方法, 较之不断地让学生写新材料能更有效地提高学生的写作能力。相信, 经过长期这样的书面表达训练, 肯定能促进学生英语书面表达能力的提高, 增强学生对英语书面表达的兴趣。

附:高三英语书面表达的评判标准及错误类型序号表 (供参考)

评判标准

第一档21分以上

用词恰当;句子结构正确, 句式多样 (如强调句、倒装句、虚拟语气、非谓语动词等) ;能适当运用固定句型;要点全;全文结构完整连贯, 行文流畅;自己的观点鲜明且合逻辑;书写工整清晰, 卷面美观。

第二档18-20分

用词恰当;句子结构正确, 句式多样 (如强调句、倒装句、虚拟语气、非谓语动词等) ;能适当运用固定句型;要点全;全文连贯, 能根据短文内容分段;自己的观点鲜明且合逻辑。但有个别错误, 不影响意思表达;书写工整。

第三档15-17分

用词正确;句子结构正确;有一定的句式变化 (如强调句、倒装句、虚拟语气、非谓语动词等) ;要点全;能根据文意适当分段;自己的观点阐述正确。但有2-3处错误, 不影响意思表达;书写清楚整齐。

第四档11-14分

用词基本正确;句子结构正确;要点基本提到;有自己的观点阐述。但有4-6处错误, 个别地方影响意思表达;书写不清, 卷面不够整洁。

第五档10分以下

要点不全;有自己的观点。但错误较多, 短文意思表达不完整;书写不整齐, 字迹难辨。

书面表达教学反思(一)

书面表达是一种综合能力的体现,它可以培养学生表达事实、观点、情感等各方面的能力。但我们的学生基础薄弱,写作习惯差,因此,在我的教学中,我首先要狠抓基础写作,规范写作习惯。

一. 狠抓基础词汇。在日常的教学过程,我狠抓词汇教学,要求学生词汇一定过关。在早读课上,让学生领读、齐读,并布置词汇记忆任务,如:单词的读音、词性、词义、基本用法和固定用法;在课堂上,让学生相互提问词汇,帮助记忆词汇,并把词汇放在课文中教学,让学生更容易记忆和运用,课后,让学生多阅读英语读物,增加词汇量,并布置简单的.英语日记,让学生爱上英语写作,培养一定的写作自信心。

二. 规范写作习惯。注意学生写作模式的培养,使学生养成良好的写作习惯。

1. 认真审题。审清题材、内容和文体。

2. 构思内容。结合脑中的知识和所给材料,思考文章怎么写。

3. 列好写作提纲。

4. 写好初稿,加以修改,最后定稿。(把好语法关。注意人称、时态及语态的一致性;注意连接词的使用,使文章多彩化。)

我认为, 目前学生存在的问题主要有以下几种。 (1) 缺少基本的英语表达模式。进行写作时许多学生习惯采用的是“汉语思维+英语词汇”的表达方式, 写出的英语语句不符合英语的表达习惯, 属于中文式的英语语句, 造出许多啼笑皆非的句子。 (2) 文中时态、语态混乱不清。一部分学生对时态把握不准, 对现在时、过去时及完成时处理不当, 有的学生在一篇短文中对于同一时间段的描写, 时而用一般现在时, 时而用一般过去时, 飘忽不定。还有的学生把该用被动语态的地方用错了主动语态。 (3) 语句的连贯和词语的搭配不当。有些学生不会使用关联词, 也不善于使用复合句, 使文章读起来生硬、松散、不流畅, 再加上受母语的影响, 还有的学生表达的词语不准确、搭配不合理。

上述问题说明, 学生缺乏对英语语言自然生成的那种不假思索的直接反映, 也就是缺乏语感。要想提高学生的书面表达能力, 老师必须从平常的课堂教学抓起, 采用综合训练的方法, 使学生养成良好的学习习惯, 形成有效的学习方法。

刚开始进行综合训练法时, 教师可以根据课文深化话题, 多角度对课文进行缩写、仿写、扩写或者续写训练, 其优势就是可利用课文所学的知识, 毫无困难地表达。例如学完The World's Population一课后, 通过训练缩写, 学生居然把长达300字的文章缩成60字左右的短文。这类训练既培养了学生总结, 概括的逻辑思维能力, 又锻炼学生遣词造句, 联句成篇的书面表达能能力。如今的新教材图文并茂, 材料丰富, 还有不少图表, 这些正是学生锻炼听说读写的好材料, 有利于培养学生的观察能力、思维能力、口头表达能力和书面表达能力。

除了从课堂中捕捉话题外, 训练学生用英语写周记、日记, 也是一个行之有效的方法。它直接培养了学生对所见所闻及自己的喜怒哀乐等情感用英语表达的实际能力, 每周选出一、两篇范文并分析点评, 更会激起学生的写作兴趣。对于基础差的学生, 要求不宜过高, 即使有错误出现, 也要鼓励学生坚持写下去。因为在课堂上的时间毕竟有限, 把好的周记或日记在班上展览, 某些表达好的句子用彩笔标出或做出批语。再找一篇表达不是很好的文章, 大家共同出谋划策帮其修改, 经过纠错来获得一篇通顺、得体、自然、规范的英语短文。这不仅可以训练学生发现、纠正错误的能力, 而且培养了学生在语篇中综合运用英语的能力。

值得注意的是教师在针对不同学生的实际困难时, 要因材施教, 采取切合实际的、行之有效的方法。同时还应该要求学生掌握英语书面表达中常见的各种体裁的格式和特点。不同体裁的文章, 其写作方法和特点也各异。如说明文在文法上至少有两个明显的特点, 一是主题句明显, 二是动词多用一般现在时。平时的训练中要求学生在语句表达正确的基础上, 也要考虑以下两点。 (1) 扣题严谨。无论是文字还是图画类型的提示要求, 学生在动笔之前一定要仔细阅读和推敲审题, 弄清提示内容, 抓住要表达的信息要点。 (2) 考虑全面。书面表达时, 既要防止出现画蛇添足、节外生枝的跑题现象, 又要防止出现丢三落四、要点不全的遗漏现象。

教师应该采取由易到难, 由简入繁的方法循序渐进、持之以恒, 让学生多渠道地积累语言知识, 充分运用所学过的知识, 才能不断加深语感, 写出准确、地道、规范的书面英语。

不少教师在英语课外活动指导上还且存在着误区一是采用“放, 羊式主要”表, 变成自由活动现为这样几个, 缺乏方面:思引导, 导致表面热热闹闹, 实则低效运

行;二是活动形式单一, 学生产生厌倦心理, 出现教师高期待, 学生低情绪状况;三是割裂课内与课外的联系, 没有起到让课外活动巩固、发展课内学习成果的作用;四是教师把课外活动看做课外作业辅导, 如将做“阅读短文”和真正意义上的课外阅读等同起来, 压缩了学生自主、合作学习的空间;五是评价重结果、轻过程, 是典型的应试教育思想在作祟, 不符合对学生学习三维目标培养的新课程理念。错误的认识导致了错误的、低效的活动, 使得英语课外活动流于形式、搞搞停停, 甚至不了了之。

新课程标准的一个核心理念是变传统的“教师教, 学生学”为“教师, 教学生学”, 突出学生主体地位和教师的主导作用。教师在组织英语课外活动时, 要有明确的活动计划, 不打无准备之仗, 教师在进行集体备课时也要备班级、年级的课外活动。学校还可以每学期举行一次“英语节”活动, 从组织形式、活动内容都要精心策划, 要突出“以生为本”教学思想, 教师要能在课外活动中发现学生英语学习中存在的问题, 有的放矢, 通过活动解决问题。教师在课外活动组织过程中要“问计于生”, 以学生兴趣为出发点, 以提高学生英语综合素质为旨归。教师对活动的评价要重过程, 要激发学生参与活动的积极性, 让学生觉得“有意思”, 进而感到“有意义”, 要有“数子十过不如奖子一功”理念, 让每个学生体味到成长的喜悦, 增强自信心。当然, 英语课外活动的成功开展与教师的英语素养密切相关, 教师应扩大知识领域, 提升教育理念, 做到胸中有丘壑, 这样才能有效指导, 成为学生学习的促进者和引导者。
