Practice the dialogue of Part 1 in pairs. Give the students a few minutes to prepare to act it out. Get two students to act out the dialogue in front of the class.

Read through the instructions with the whole class. Have the students ask and answer in pairs. Then ask the students to write a short passage about the Smiths’ trip.
Ⅶ. Practice
Make a surrounding of the airport. One student cuts as Mr. Smith. The other one cuts as a woman. Mr. Smith asks the woman for help, make up their own dialogues in pairs, and get some of them to perform their dialogues to share with the whole class.

Do Exercise! In pairs. Get the students to talk about the Smith family’s trip to Haikou in pairs, with the help of the passage in the text.

[教材把握]
《出师表》是诸葛亮在227年出兵伐魏,临行时写给刘禅的奏章。文章总结了“亲贤臣,远小人”才能使蜀汉兴盛的历史经验,表示作者“北定中原,兴复汉室”的决心,表现了诸葛亮忧心国事、鞠躬尽瘁的忠忱。全文只624字,语言精炼,多以四字句行文,兼用一些工整的排比对偶句式,体现了东汉末年骈体文流行的时代风尚。有大量的合成词,是出于诸葛亮的首创,不少词经过他的提炼,后来成为富有生命力的成语,沿用至今,如“妄自菲薄”、“感激涕零”、“不知所云”等。
文章寓情于议,寓情于事,晓之以理,动之以情。不仅主张明确,析理透辟,而且殷切期望之情溢于言表。由于诸葛亮深感先帝知遇之恩和托付国家大事之责任,全篇为他的“报先帝”、“忠陛下”之情所贯穿。开篇论及形势以警刘禅,继之以进谏举贤以正其治,转而自述平生以动其情,结尾点明兴汉之主旨以励其志。全文以议论为主,融入叙事和抒情,以做到对刘禅晓之以理、动之以情而达到劝谏的目的。论述切中要害,分析透辟,针对性强,寓情于议,情理交融,言词恳切,说服力强。寓情于事,委婉动人,感情真挚。所叙之事,如推荐贤才,讲身世,谈经历,都是为议论服务,使对刘禅提的建议与要求,有理有据,更能使人信服。全篇晓之以理,动之以情,理至情浓,情理交融,使文章具有极强的感染力,从而成为千古“至文”,历来为世人推崇和传诵。
“报先帝”、“忠陛下”的思想感情贯穿全篇, 此情此意形成了率直、质朴、恳切的语言风格。他心之所想,笔之所写,情之所注,理之所喻,皆醒目而感人。全文不用典,无比喻,去华丽,重真情实感,处处不失臣子的身份,又切合长辈的口吻。
本文在教材中的地位应为议论体的杰作,抒情体的典范,古文中的精华。是每位学生必须熟读成诵、牢记于心的篇目。

一、创设情境,导入新课
“三顾茅庐”、“火烧赤璧”“六出祁山”等脍炙人口的故事在中国是家喻户晓的。诸葛亮的文才韬略令人倾倒。他写的《出师表》是汉末以来的第一流杰作,文章质朴诚挚,志尽文畅。陆游说“出师一表真名世,千载谁堪伯仲间”,文天祥说“或为出师,鬼神泣壮烈”。我们今天就来学习这篇杰作。(板书课题)
二、初读课文,整体感知
1、师背诵课文。要求:认真听读,注意字的读音。
2、生各自放声读两遍课文。要求:读准字音,尽量读好句中的停顿。
3、生每人读一段课文。教师随时纠正学生的读音错误。

亲贤远佞这一条。因为刘禅是个昏君,容易受坏人蛊惑,如不亲贤远佞,就会出现“妄自菲薄,引喻失义”“偏私,使内外异法”等情况,再好的方针、政策也不能贯彻执行,而“亲贤”更重要。“开张圣听”,对贤臣“亲之信之”,要“咨诹善道,察纳雅言”等,都是开导刘禅要“亲贤”。

表是古代臣民向君主呈递的公文的一种名称。常见有疏表奏章几种。表主要是用来陈情的。本篇是诸葛亮要出师北定中原前上给后主的表章,但在内容和表达方式上却不同于一般疏表,它的特点是: ①内容上没有陈述出师的利弊得失,而是追念先帝殊遇之恩,点明此次出兵非同一般,既是为了完成先帝统一天下的未竟之业,又是为了扭转危急处境。全文有理有据、合情合理。②表达方式运用议论、记叙,抒情相结合的手法使文章既有细致的说明,又有感人至深的抒情。如劝戒刘禅说理深刻而充分,句句饱含着忠于先帝寄希望于后主的诚挚之情。

西安市委党校65岁的历史学教授胡觉照日前写给国家教育部教材司一封建议信,认为应将诸葛亮的《出师表》撤出中学语文课本,以华歆的《止战疏》代之。

观、‘止战息兵’的观念”。虽然胡教授有自由解读《出师表》,并给予批评建议的权利,但此一耸人说辞,又确乎让人莫名惊诧,难以苟同。不错,从表面的历史文本上看,当初诸葛亮所以上书《出师表》,力主北伐,确实有感恩于刘备父子的因素。但是,此一“报恩”情结,果真就是他决意“鞠躬尽瘁,死而后已”出师北伐的全部和根本动机?对此,诸葛亮在其前后《出师表》中其实已经说得很明白,“非臣不自惜,顾王业不可偏安于蜀都”,而目的在于“攘除奸凶,兴复汉室,还于旧都”。当然,作为千年之后的现代人,对上述表白中“王业”、“奸凶”的具体内涵及其正当性,完全可以有不同看法。但,对处于当时具体历史情境下的古人的这份“奖帅三军,北定中原”志向和情感的忠贞性和真挚性,显然不容轻易怀疑,更不能简单草率地视为“愚忠”。更何况,追求国家统一、民族完整,从来就是中华历史的主旋律,是历代仁人志士矢志不渝、念兹在兹的家国理想。这种历史心理、民族情感背景下,即便《出师表》确实“表现出的是一种愚忠”,那也绝非仅仅针对个人之忠。事实上,正是因为《出师表》淋漓生动地体现了这样一种家国之忠,所以,后世每当国家危亡之际,它才能如此强烈地感染和激励着后人“壮怀激烈”的爱国情感和意志,有道是:“前后出师遗表在,令人一览泪沾襟”(白居易),“出师一表真名世,千载谁堪伯仲间”(陆游),“或为出师表,鬼神泣壮烈”(文天祥)。至于所谓“不利于形成科学的军事观”云云,在笔者看来,同样也是偏颇之辞。“出师”当然意味着发动战争,但问题是,任何战争的发动都等于不“科学的军事观”吗?或者,“止战息兵”就意味着不讲任何战争、战备吗?古人说得好:“兵者,国之重器也。好战者恒亡,而忘战者必危”。可见,科学的军事观从来都是不好战与不忘战的有机统一,绝不可偏废于一端———好战固然可怕,但忘战讳战同样十分危险。所以,仁义圣德如孔子,也强调:“以不教民战,是谓弃之”。(《论语•子路》)最后,必须指出的是,《出师表》之所以不可从教材中删除,胡教授的建议之所以不可接受,还在于,《出师表》流芳千载的价值不止是思想上,也是文学文本上的。关于这一点,历代文学家早已论述详备,并已是文学史之公论:如南北朝文学评论大家刘勰就曾如是高度评价《出师表》:“孔明之辞后主,志尽文畅”;大文学家苏东坡对之更是赞誉有加:“孔明出师二表,简而且尽,直而不肆,大哉言乎!”,而同为宋代文学家的陆游甚至认为:“凛然出师表,一字不可删!” 如
此文史皆有公论,并浸染了深厚民族传统精神情感,“志尽文畅”、文质俱佳的杰出作品,岂容以“愚忠”论之,并建言删之?所以,胡觉照教授当收回此议。
