四年级百词竞赛总结

12月，华辰小学英语组组织了一场小学生英语百词竞赛，四年级学生有9人获得一等奖，13人获得二等奖，20人获得三等奖。这次考查的对象以本学期的英语单词为主，还有三十个拓展单词。从这份检测成绩中，我也发现了四年级学生在英语学习中的一些困难和不足，现总结如下：

第一大题为根据中文写单词，涵盖了1-6单元的四会单词，学生对于class, grade作为单词时不用大写，掌握的不好，这提醒了教师在教学程中，一定讲清楚何时大写，何时不大写，不要总是强调某年某班要大写，让学生误以为class, grade永远需要大写。

第二大题为重新排列字母写单词，很多孩子出现问题，默写单词没有问题，重新排列就有问题。说明学生在默写的过程中，机械地形成了习惯，但是并未真正掌握单词的字母与读音，词义之间的关系。经过这次考试，我与其他英语教师也进行了交流，我们总结了一些英语单词记忆的小经验，很可取。现在写出来与所有英语教师交流一下：

英语单词教学的五个步骤

1.让学生仔细听单词的读音。教师可放录音给他们听，使学生从听觉上正确地感受某个单词的读音。

2.让学生看所学单词所代表的事物之形状。因为小学英语中，大部分单词是 表示具体的事物，抽象的甚少。这样教师就可以通过实物、卡片或简笔画，把要学的单词展示在学生面前，使学生有一种直观感 受。如球类、学习用品、交通工具等单词，可以用实物或玩具进行直观教学。既生动，又形象。

3.让学生拼读单词。教师把所学单词书写在黑板上或卡片上，让学生拼读，掌握单词是由哪些字母组合而成的以及一些单词正确书写。

4.让学生想其读音和构成。通过以上三个步骤的训练，所学单词的读音和构成已基本上在学生大脑中形成。这时要求学生想一想所学单词读音和字母组合，主要是加深印象，让学生记牢。

5.让学生说出和写出单词，目的是检验学生的掌握情况。教师拿出实物或卡片，要求学生正确拼读出来，并能在三线本上写出来。如教师拿出吉他，学生就拼写出g-u-i-t-a-r。以上五个步骤，缺一不可，只有通过听、看、读、说、写的练习，才算系统地完成了一个新单词的教学。
