二、推荐人

RL是申请的文书中占不少比例的材料，很多学生为了能够增加申请的成功率，会找一些比较有名气的人来写，推荐人并不是名气越高申请的成功率就越高，招生的老师他们首先看的是推荐人对学生的熟悉程度，推荐人对学生很熟悉的话描写的RL才是有价值的，如果推荐人对学生的不了解的话，不能描写出学生真实的信息的。新加坡的学校通常会要求学生递交2-3封RL，学生应该要尽量不要请同一类型的人来写，你需要让招生的老师对你有一个全面的认识，所以不能只是学生在校的成绩或者是工作上的表现。

三、写作事项

RL中的每一句话不能都是赞美学生的，还需要举出实例来证明所描述的内容是真实的，推荐人也不能完全保证是否都记得学生的成就和实力，所以在写作之前要和推荐人进行交谈一次，你也可以把你的简历给推荐人看看，来提醒他们你所具有的能和获得的成绩并且表明你是想要推荐人在信中提到这些信息的。如果推荐人能够恰当又正面的描述了学生的不足，能够显示出推荐人对学生深刻的了解，也能够增加RL内容的真实性。
