质量是高等职业教育的生命线。质量评价是保证学校教育教学质量的重要手段。教高[2006]16号《关于全面提高高等职业教育教学质量的若干意见》中指出,高等职业院校要强化质量意识,尤其要加强质量管理体系建设,重视过程监控,吸收用人单位参与教学质量评价,逐步完善以学校为核心、教育行政部门引导、社会参与的教学质量保障体系。

1.毕业生参与高职教育质量评价的意义

1.1是高职教育质量评价体系的重要组成部分

目前,我国高等教育质量评价方式包括内部评价和外部评价两种。其中内部评价是学校和教育管理部门的自我评价。外部评价则是独立于学校的社会评价。毕业生评价是第三方评价的重要组成部分,也是高职教育质量评价体系的重要内容。开展毕业参与的教育质量评价对完善和充实高职教育质量评价体系具有重要意义。

1.2能够客观反映高职教育水平,提高人才培养质量

客觀评价教育水平,对提高学校人才培养质量具有重要意义。毕业生是一个学校教育质量评价的潜在力量。高职毕业生经过三年的教育经历,熟悉学校的教学环节,亲身体验教学过程,对学校的人才培养质量最有发言权。毕业生走到社会以后,经受社会对人才能力需求的考验,使毕业生能够对自己所学与社会需求进行对比,形成张力,进而反思,容易对学校教育质量做出客观评价,并提出有益的建议和意见,进而推动学校教学改革,提高人才培养质量。

1.3有利于加深学校与社会交流,促进社会力量参与办学

吸收社会力量参与办学,是目前高职学校发展的重要手段之一。高职学校是社会高技能人才的有力孵化器,是企业技能型优质劳动者的主要来源地。高职毕业生走向社会后,经过一段时间的磨练,成为企业发展的中坚人才力量。有效开展毕业生参与的高职教育质量评价工作,让一代又一代的毕业生参与到学校教育质量评价活动中,让毕业生更加了解、关心并支持高职教育发展,有利于加深学校与社会交流,促进社会力量参与办学。

2.毕业生参与的高职教育质量评价现状

2.1毕业生参与率低

毕业生参与率低是开展毕业生参与的高职教育质量评价工作面临的主要问题。在评价过程中,毕业生是主体,如果没有毕业生参与或参与率低,开展评价工作就失去了根基。然而,由于学生毕业后与学校没有了直接利益关系,使得目前毕业生参与教育质量评价工作的热情度不高。

2.2评价方式单一

目前,常用的评价方式主要有问卷调查、电话采访、现场采访、邮件调查、座谈、专题会议等几种方式。其共同特点是一般由学校主动发起,毕业生被动参与。在大多数情况下,这种毕业生被动参与的评价方式,收集到的信息质量不高,深度也不够,参考意义不大。

2.3评价内容片面

评价工作的主要侧重点仍是对学校课堂教学质量的评价,缺乏对人才培养质量的整体评价。众所周知,人才质量的构成是多方面的,知识技能的掌握程度只是其中之一。

3.毕业生参与高职教育质量评价工作的实现

3.1内抓管理,外造气氛,提高毕业生评价参与率

提高毕业生评价参与率,是开展毕业生参与的高职教育质量评价工作取得成效的基础。针对目前毕业生参与率低的现状,应当通过学校和社会两方面共同努力。

首先,从学校方面,可以通过实施分阶段评价的方式来提高毕业生参与率。第一阶段是学生完成毕业前的顶岗实习到办理毕业离校手续阶段。顶岗实习是高职教育的重要教学环节,学生在半年的顶岗实习中,可以检验自己在学校学到的知识和技能掌握水平,同时也必定能够感受到学校教育与企业需求不相适应的内容和环节。因此,学校可以考虑在学生完成顶岗实习后,由教学部门统一组织毕业生对学校教育质量进行评价。虽然此阶段的学生未必能提出全面、深入的建议和意见,但却能保证很高的参与率,仍具有一定的参考价值。第二阶段是从学生毕业到毕业后的5年内。在这一阶段,学生已脱离学校走向社会,学校方面与学生保持联系的主要是辅导员,因此,此阶段的教育质量评价工作应当主要由辅导员来实施。学校教学部门可以设计一些统一的调查表格,并考虑给予一定的经费支持,委托辅导员定期或不定期的开展毕业生参与的教育质量评价活动。第三阶段是学生毕业5年后。在这一阶段,少部分优秀毕业生已经成长为企业的技术骨干或专家,对社会人才需求与学校教育之间的关系有了更深入的理解,能够对学校的人才培养工作提出更有价值的建议。因此,学校可以考虑定期或不定期的邀请这些毕业生回校交流,召开座谈会或举办讲座,加入专业建设委员会,甚至聘请为兼职教师,深度参与教育质量评价和建设工作。

其次,从社会方面,政府、社会团体、行业协会、企业等应当提高责任意识,加大宣传力度,支持学校教育质量评价工作。教育是全民族的大事,做好教育评价工作,提高教育质量,不仅需要学校的努力,也离不开全社會的支持。全社会应当努力创建一个积极支持教育事业发展的良好环境和氛围,支持教育质量评价工作,从每个毕业生做起,促进学校教育质量稳步提升。

3.2搭建面向社会的网络评价平台

随着因特网的普及,网络已成为人们相互交流的重要方式之一。网络交流成本低、方便、快捷、不受时间地域限制等特点,有利于使分散在各个行业、不同地域的毕业生有效参与到学校教育质量评价中。因此,学校应当考虑搭建基于网络的方便毕业生参与的教育质量评价平台,提高毕业生参与率及参与深度。目前,很多学校已对教育质量评价系统的开发建设进行了有益的探索,但针对在校学生的居多,面向已毕业学生的较少。另外,少数系统设计的内容还不够合理,参与方式单一,如简单的以“问卷调查表”来获取信息,调查内容深度也不够。因此,建立基于网络的评价平台,开发形式多样的评价方式,是当前做好毕业生参与高职教育质量评价工作的一项重要内容。

3.3实施全面评价

在我国,毕业生参与的高职教育质量评价内容还比较片面,其评价仍以教学内容为中心,缺乏全面评价。在这方面,我们可以借鉴国外发达国家的一些有益做法。如,英国的基本评价内容包括关键能力、专业基础知识、专业技能三方面,其细分的指标更多;美国的评价内容考虑的更广泛;等等。衡量人才质量的因素是多方面的,学校在引导毕业生参与教育质量评价的过程中,应当充分考虑评价内容的全面性,科学设计评价模块,才能获得好的效果,真正促进学校教育质量发展。

总之,毕业生参与的教育质量评价是高职教育质量评价体系的重要内容,对完善和充实高职教育质量评价体系,提高高职人才培养质量具有重要现实意义。目前,开展毕业生参与的教育质量评价活动还存在着毕业生参与率低、参与方式单一、评价内容片面等诸多问题,但只要学校重视,社会支持,搭建面向社会的网络评价平台,开展全面、多样的评价模式,就有望取得良好的效果,提高高职人才培养质量。

毕业论文(设计)是本科阶段最重要的教学实践环节,它不仅可以有效检验学生通过大学四年的学习对理论及专业知识的掌握程度,还可以有效评价高校的人才培养能力及教育教学水平,是高校综合实力的重要衡量标志。通过毕业论文(设计)写作过程,可以训练学生运用所学知识分析及解决专业相关实际问题的能力,是对大学四年学习的总结与评价。毕业论文质量评价体系中,“重结果、轻过程”的现象也屡见不鲜,无法保证评价结果的可靠性。本文将在厘清毕业论文(设计)质量相关构成要素的基础上,探讨构建合理可靠的质量评估体系,以期为高等院校毕业论文(设计)质量监督管理部门提供政策依据及决策支持。

1.本科毕业论文(设计)质量评价存在问题分析

调查发现,尽管各有差异,但普通高等院校基本均有一套固定的本科毕业论文(设计)质量评估体系,总体而言,存在以下问题[3]:

(1)评价主体缺失现象严重。目前许多高校的本科毕业论文(设计)评价工作仍然主要由指导老师执行,较少参考交叉评阅老师与答辩小组的意见。由于毕业论文(设计)成绩直接影响优秀毕业论文(设计)的评定及甄选,同时也会影响指导老师评优评先结果,导致指导老师的评定成绩显著超出论文(设计)的真实水平,造成评价结果的失真。

(3)评价指标权重的确定存在随意性。目前本科毕业论文质量的评定多由学校教务处或者二级教学单位在指导老师评阅成绩与答辩之间随意确定一个主观权重,缺乏足够的现实调研及理论方法作支撑。

(4)评价标准模糊。许多高校尽管具备评价指标及权重,但论文的评价标准不精细,可操作性不强,既无法为论文评阅提供参考作用,同时也无法对指导老师形成足够的约束力与牵制力。导致指导老师权利过重,易使评价结果显著高于论文的真实水平。

2.质量评价体系探索及构建思路

(2)评价指标的全面化

本科毕业论文(设计)质量的评价内容涉及到指导教师、评卷教师和答辩过程中相互联系的多个指标。为了使评价的内容更加全面,应综合考虑与三大主体相关的各种影响因素分析。此外,论文的教学过程是一个复杂性、阶段性的工程,应将影响论文质量的动态指标和静态指标相结合,建立一套完整的评价体系。

(3)评价方法的科学性

目前,对于本科毕业论文(设计)质量综合评价方法较多,评价方法的科学性直接影响评价结果。本文主要采用了灰色关联度法确定指标权重,在此基础上结合模糊综合评价法得出评价结果。通过实际计算可以看出,本方法运算简洁,结果符合人们的预期决策和评判习惯。

(4)评判标准的明确性

一方面,本科毕业论文(设计)评判标准的明确性有助于学校更好的控制、管理以及评判毕业论文质量,有助于教师更好的开展对论文的指导工作。另外,评判标准的明确性能让学生有倾向性地找到提高毕业论文的办法,对毕业论文质量的提高有举足轻重的作用。

3.本科毕业论文(设计)成绩的评判模型建立

3.1评价指标体系构建

结合本科毕业论文(设计)成绩评价指标的构成要素以及本科毕业论文(设计)成绩兼顾原则,为使评定指标更好的反映学生在选题、开题、中期检查、预答辩、答辩等各子过程中的努力程度,按照有关影响因素的不同性质,选取指导教师、评卷教师以及答辩小组作为一级评价指标,并选取11个影响因素作为二级评价指标,形成指标层—准则层—目标层的评价指标,以保证选取指标的客观性。如图1所示。

从以往的毕业论文指导工作中可以看出,学生虽然通过了3年多的学习,掌握了大量的理论知识,但论文撰写工作是一项复杂的工程,学生很难单独完成。指导教师与学生接触机会较多,能够很好的了解与学生论文写作有关的各项动态评判成绩依据,例如写作态度、写作进度、解决问题的能力,另外,论文的创新性直接影响论文成绩,有助于提高论文的实用价值。

3.2权重确定

灰色关联分析是灰色系统理论的主要内容之一,它是对运行机制与物理原型不清楚或者根本缺乏物理原型的灰关系序列化、模式化,进而建立灰关联分析模型,使灰关系量化、序化、显化,能为复杂系统的建模提供重要的技术分析手段[5]。其基本步骤为:首先,对需要确定权重的对象进行打分,找出参考数列V。然后,计算出关联系数和关联度,最后,将所求出的关联度进行归一化处理,得出其权重。

以一级指标为例,运用灰色关联度法确定权重。为了权重更具有客观性,特邀请M个专家对“毕业论文评价指标”中的3个一级指标进行打分,λ0jk表示第k位专家对第j个指标的打分,要求所打分数λ0jk∈[0,10]。设V=(v1,v2,v3.....vn),由vi=max{λ0ij},1≤i≤3,1≤j≤n。可由此得出参考数列V。

在此基础上,计算出V和λ0jk之间的关联系数和关联度,由此可得出各指标对于V的优劣程度。计算公式以下:

为关联系数,为关联度。式中为分辨系数,引入它可以减少极值对计算的影响。一般情况下,P在0.1至0.5之间取值。

对上述关联度进行归一化处理,以满足权重和为1的目的。计算公式如下:

同理,可以得出本科毕业论文(设计)成绩评价指标体系的各因素的权重。如下表1所示。

3.3评语集及隶属函数确定

模糊数学理论已经广泛应用于管理科学、系统工程、经济学、社会学等科学技术领域。其中,模糊综合评价法是一种被广泛使用的方法。模糊综合评价法是运用模糊数学隶属度,对难以量化和模糊问题进行的评价。

其基本步骤如下:首先,确定影响因素集,并确定各因素的之间的权重关系。此步骤上文中以确定。其次,建立评语集和隶属度,评语集是评价指标可能出现结果的集合,是对模糊问题的评价结果的划分。结合本文的的实际的情况,将评语集划分为优、良、差。在进行模糊综合评判时,隶属函数的确定是整个模糊综合评判的关键,隶属函数反映了各个评判因素对评语集的隶属度。在本文中,影响本科毕业论文(设计)质量的因子为定性因素,利用专家打分的方法,采用离散隶属度,如表2所示。最后,对指标依次进行一级模糊综合评判和二级模糊综合评判,得出最终的评价结果。

4.实例分析

本文以重庆某高校一名本科毕业生的毕业论文成绩为例,由指导教师、阅卷教师和答辩组分别给出各项指标的评价结果,如下表3所示。

4.1一级模糊评价

4.2二级模糊评价

由B1、B2、B3得到矩阵R,进行二级模糊评价。

根据最大隶属度原则,由二级评判结果可以看出,该同学的论文较优秀,隶属度为0.55425。将二级模糊评价隶属度进行“归一化”处理,结果为BA=(0.536,0.320,0.144),可以得出本论文为优秀、良好、较差的比例分别为53.6%,32.0%,14.4%。为了得出最终学生论文的评价成绩,可设定优秀、良好、较差的分值分别为K=(85,75,65),由BAKT=78.92,可得出该学生的最终成绩为78.92分,介于优秀和良好之间。

5.结语

本文基于对本科毕业论文(设计)质量综合评价方法进行探析,将指导教师评定、阅卷教师评定和答辩评定相结合,消除指导老师在评定中权利过大的不公平因素,建立毕业论文质量评价指标体系。运用灰色关联度方法确定指标权重,采用二级模糊评价法对评价指标和评价过程进行模糊化,可以减少指导老师打“印象分”对毕业论文质量的最终评定结果的影响,也最大限度的融合了交叉审阅老师和答辩老师的评阅意见。通过实例验证,让三大主体对指标体系中的二级指标各项进行评价,缩小评判范围,减少评价误差,所得结果具有一定的可靠性。由此证明该方法具有一定的可行性和可操作性,计算过程简洁方便,有利于更加准确的对本科毕业论文(设计)质量进行综合评价,值得推广。随着不断发展变化的新形势,评价模型的各个指标及指标的重要性也应作相应的调整,分值和权重等也应随着指标体系的调整而加以变动,需要结合实际的情况对本模型进行合理使用。
