the subject of our presentation is “your dream & your goal”. during the next 10 minutes, we’ll give you a brief explanation of these stuff at the best of our knowledge.

first of all, i’d like to spent 3 or 5 minutes on discussing about the dream. when we were 5, they asked us what we want to be when we grow up. we answered like superman, princess, or in my case, a sailor moon. when we were 10, again they asked and the answer was policemen, doctors and some other high-principled jobs. but unfortunately, we finally found our dreams unrealistic as we entered a not-so-good high school, did not-so-good school works and went to a not-so-good direction in our life. i guess, many of you have thought about changing your dreams, but finally felt at a loss again. yep! we’re adults and they are waiting for a serious answer. well, how about this? who the hell knows! dream is only a dream. it’s unnecessary for us to think over our dreams all day long. you know, dreams always change, and this is not the time to make difficult decisions. but what do dreams do? why do we still have an urgent need of dreams?

英文电影题材丰富，情节引人入胜，优美的背景音乐。这都是学生的注意力所在。不论是《哈利波特》还是《阿凡达》，学生都能感受到，英语其实无时无刻不在我们身边。我们学习的都是能够学以致用的知识，是密切联系日常生活的实事。老师在用英文电影辅助教学时，跟学生进一步探讨观后感等等，更增添了老师与学生的互动，使学生的学习动力进一步加强。精彩的电影对白，使学生不由自主地跟着模仿。

(三)了解西方文化

从英文电影中了解与中国文化迥异的文化特征，在学习语言的过程中自然而然地从英语立场出发感受其文化。只有先理解对方的文化，然后才会站在该角色的立场来感受其文化。电影反映的是一个国家和民族的社会文化和生活。电影涵盖生活的方方面面，反映了社会生活的各个环节。不同的电影都体现了不同时期文化的细微差异。从影片中，学生可以了解到国外文化的整体发展趋势，把握文化的差异，真真正正地理解并且自然地运用到英语中。

三、结论

电影以它完整的故事情节和优美动听的主题音乐能给大家带来美的享受，通过欣赏英文电影，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，从而提高学生英语学习成绩，乃至学生了解英语文化。这种英文电影对英文教学的辅助教学法不仅帮助学生更好地理解原声，而且能够促使学生参与学习活动，由被动学习英语转变为主动学习，与电影人物，与同学，与老师互动，学到地地道道的英语。因此，用英文电影安排教学活动是一种可以尝试的“愉快教学”的新模式。英语教学应该与时俱进，合理地与现代教育技术结合，用英文电影辅助英语教学，可以提高学生的英语学习兴趣，摆脱枯燥单调的学习模式，为语言学习开拓一条生动有趣的学习途径，这需要我们每一位教育教学工作者的积极探索。

“自我效能感”这一理论概念,是在1977年由美国心理学家班杜拉所提出的。自我效能感指的是人们对于自己在某个活动领域之内操作能力的主观性判断和评价。在自我效能感的产生或变化时,主要有四个因素能够对其产生影响,它们分别为成败经验、替代性经验、生理情感的激活、以及他人的语言劝说等。经过实践研究表明,如果学生的自我效能感越高,那么他所设立的目标也就越高,为了实现这一目标所付出的努力也就越多,而且努力所持续的时间也就越长。因此,如果在英文写作教学中提高学生的自我效能感,对提升学生的英文写作能力具有十分重要的意义。

二、自我效能感对学生英文写作能力的影响

1.对写作练习选择的影响。学生在进行英文写作练习的时候,自我效能感越强,越容易选择难度大、挑战性高的写作练习内容。自我效能感越强的学生,其表现欲望也就越强。因此在英语写作的课堂中,他们就更加愿意用英语将自己的思想表达出来。而激发学生用英语表达思想的意愿,正是提高学生英文写作能力的基本出发点。

2 . 对思维的影响。由于人们的行动都要受到思维的支配,人类的思维有一个主要的功能,就是对未来的行为结果进行预测。通过思维的活动,自我效能感会对人们产生促进或阻碍的作用。自我效能感较强的学生,更愿意去想象成功的写作作品,因此能够真正促进到学生的写作实践。

3.对学习动机的影响。学生的自我效能感越强,其学英文写作的动机也就越强。这样的学生在写作练习的过程中,如果遇到难题,会有更强的毅力和韧性,来解决问题。并且不断的进行自我学习和完善,以达到提高自身英文写作能力的目的。

4.对身心反应的影响。自我效能感还能够对学生的心态和情绪产生不同的影响,例如应激状态、抑郁、焦虑等情绪反应。自我效能感较强的学生,会更加相信自己有能力面对英文写作中存在的难题,同时有信心进行解决。因此,在写作进行之前,学生就不会产生害怕、担忧等负面情绪。让学生能够有一个良好的心态,进行写作练习。

三、基于自我效能感的英文写作策略

1.让学生获得成功的体验。成功或失败的经验,是人们在实际活动中获得自我效能感的一个主要方式,它能够体现人们对事件的掌握和驾驭能力。因此,在英文写作的教学当中,教师应当设置合适的写作目标,让学生能够得到成功的体验,并通过这种方式,帮助学生建立英文写作良好的自我效能感。在具体教学中,教师应当对学生的能力有一个充分的认识,给学生创造更多的机会来表现自己。这样教师能够很容易的发现学生的优点和长处,适当的进行鼓励和表扬。同时,教师还应当根据不同学生的不同英文写作能力,给学生设定不同的写作目标,以激发学生的写作练习的积极性。

2.重视榜样示范作用。所谓的榜样,实际上是一种替代性的成功经验。利用与自身情况相似的榜样示范作用,借鉴其成功的经验,来解决自身面临的难题。榜样示范作用能够促使学生获得更高的自我效能感,学生通过观察和学习来获取成功的经验。例如,教师可以把一些原本写作基础较差,但后期进步很快的学生作为写作练习中的榜样,让其他学生观察榜样的进步过程和努力成果,以提高学生的自我效能感,促进英文写作能力的提高。

3.对学生进行全面、客观的综合评价。当人们对自己的能力表示信任的时候,会拥有一个较高的效能感。而人们对于自身能力的认识则主要是通过外界评价获得的。在传统的教学当中,教师对学生的评价往往只是按照学生的考试成绩和分数来进行,这样的评价不具有客观性和全面性。在英文写作教学当中,教师既要关注学生的学习成果,更要注重其学习过程。综合学生各方面的表现,对其进行全面、客观的评价,对学生的优点应给予适当的表扬和鼓励,这样才能对学生的自我效能感产生积极的影响,从而提高学生的英文写作能力。
