一、儿童时期学习英语的优势

儿童时期是语言学习的关键时期。心理学家指出,2~5岁是儿童学习语言的最佳年龄,2~3岁是儿童学习口头语言的关键期。学习语言的关键期有两层意思:1.婴幼儿期是学习语言的最佳时期,错过了这段时期,虽然也能学习语言,但是年龄越大,学起来越费劲。2.幼儿期学得的语言,即使一段时间不用,也不容易忘记,至少是易于恢复。而且,婴幼儿还具备同时学会几种语言的能力,这是成人所望尘莫及的。

二、父母参与幼儿英语学习的必要性及方式

随着经济全球化的发展,英语作为一种国际语言,越来越受到社会,学校和家长的重视。从胎教到幼儿启蒙,再到学前教育,英语学习受到了前所未有的重视。幼儿期间的外语学习,对孩子进入学校及长大成人后的外语学习,其良好作用是非常深远的。因此,父母在幼儿英语学习中的参与,对于孩子的英语学习及兴趣的提升都有很大帮助。

1. 网络和动画。

网络化和网络技术的发展,使得我们有了更多可以借助的工具和共享的资源,这些都可以帮助父母参与孩子的英语学习,如:英语趣配音。动画片的简单配音可以在父母的指导下让孩子完成,这样的方式不仅惟妙惟肖,更能促进孩子的思维兴趣,加强简单词汇学习的效果。“粉红猪小妹”:Higher!Higher!Wow!这样简单的语句是让孩子可以完成的,Dady pig flies the kite very well则是爸爸完成。“你是谁”“朋友”都是经典动画“优优”中的片段,“friends””hello”“play”的词汇即便是对孩子,也简单易学。这样的角色趣配音体验,会让孩子百玩不厌。

2. 相关教材和书籍。

英语的学习热催生了大量幼儿英语学习书籍,办刊以及点读笔,笔者推崇的是外研社的英语游戏书系列,“布奇乐乐园之图画捉迷藏”,“外研社丽声拼读故事会系列”和“丽声妙想英文绘本系列”。阶梯式学习,光盘和点读笔的结合,跟读跟唱,图画捉迷藏等设计,吸引着孩子的注意力,也从视觉,听觉等方面增强着孩子的感受,即使没有大人的帮助,孩子也可以独立地在游戏中学习。如:图画捉迷藏之一起游戏,借助点读笔,幼儿在图画中寻找列出的各项物品,每当物品被成功找到后,点读笔会播放物品的英文发音(banana,ring,nail,bell,ruler,etc.)以及对孩子的表扬,在这样的反复寻找和激励中,幼儿会自然而然地模仿跟读。外研社丽声拼读故事会,则以绘画故事的形式来帮助促进幼儿的英语习得,如:Mum Bug’s Bag,Dig Dig Dig等,内容形象生动,发音简单规整,易于幼儿学习。

3. 游戏和儿歌。

TPR(Total Physical Response)是现行的两种主要的幼儿英语教学方法之一。父母在家也可以和孩子以游戏的方式,通过跑,跳等来学习英语,让孩子的多种器官被调动起来,如walk,jump,run,sit down,stand up,父母给孩子示范每个指令,然后让孩子模拟,最后做到听指令做动作。

英语儿歌内容丰富,节奏明快,能让幼儿在快乐的氛围中学习英语。如:head,shoulders,knees and toes,And eyes,and ears,and mouth,and nose,歌词用了简单的名词,父母可以和幼儿一起边唱边做歌曲中的动作,重叠韵律,会帮助幼儿在反复中熟悉身体部位的英文表达。再如:Ten fat sausages,这首儿歌中的数字从ten,eight,six,four,two,no more,再依次偶数递增,通过手指数字游戏,可以帮助孩子熟记英文数字的表达方式,娱乐中学习,开启幼儿的心智,促进幼儿英语听说能力的发展。

自然拼读法(phonics)作为另外一种常用的幼儿英语教学方法,强调通过直接学习26个字母及字母组合在单词中的发音规则,建立字母及字母组合与发音的感知,从而达到“看字读音,听音辨字”的学习效果。如:c-a-t-cat,d-o-g-dog,r-e-d-red,h-u-g-hug,etc.这样的发音练习,不仅帮助幼儿了解熟知发音规律,也可以成为父母与幼儿之间英语学习互动的一种游戏,妙趣横生。

4. 与日常生活的结合。

此外,父母还可以把英语的简单日常用语结合于生活中,如:hurry up;look;Wash your hands,Are you ready?等,在起床时,父母可以对他说:“Get up!”起床后,带他洗漱时:“Wash your hands!”,久而久之,会让幼儿对日常用语耳熟能详。

语言的学习是日积月累的,父母可以根据孩子的爱好尝试不同的方式来引导幼儿,和孩子一起找到学习的乐趣。

三、结论

英语作为第二语言,其学习是一个漫长而艰巨的过程,结合幼儿成长阶段的特征以及幼儿的特点,父母应该积极地参与其学习,给幼儿一个宽松快乐的学习氛围,只有这样,才能有激发幼儿学习的兴趣,进而掌握英语这一技能。

孝敬父母是中华民族引以自毫的传统美德。古代流传久远的许许多多动人的故事，充分反映出我国古代劳动人民孝亲事亲的真挚情感，这种美德应予继承和光大。继承和发扬传统美德的重要意义在于：一班人在家如果能孝顺父母，那么到了社会以后，就会尊敬和关心一切年长的人，在与人相处中，也会讲道德，并能与人为善。换言之，如果一个人对自己的父母漠不关心，都不爱，那么，很难指望他将来到社会上去关心别人，去爱祖国。一个人懂得孝敬父母，这是他爱国主义情感的基础，而孝敬父母又可以包括子女对父母的亲爱之情、顺从之意、敬爱之心和侍奉供养之行。“‘孝’是稍纵即逝的眷恋，‘孝’是无法重现的幸福。‘孝’是一失足成千古恨的往事，‘孝’是生命与生命交接处的链条，一旦断裂，永无连接。”著名散文家毕淑敏曾感言，但现在又有不少有识之士都在感叹：80年代以后出生的孩子都快被宠坏了！是啊，自从上世纪70年代末我国实行计划生育政策以来，大多数家庭都只有一个孩子。那真是含在嘴里怕化了，捧在手里怕飞了。这就直接导致这样的孩子从小就心安理得的认为别人对他的关心是理所当然的而不懂得要去关心别人，更谈不上要尊敬长辈、孝敬父母。我们在作文活动中特别注意对学生的孝心教育，主要从以下几个方面入手：

一、教育学生谨身节用，懂得体贴父母

一些初中生不顾家庭经济条件，电视广告上最新推出什么，他们就攀比着吃喝什么，什么最流行，他们就穿什么；什么最高档，他们便用什么。用父母的血汗钱为自己买面子，给同学点歌，慶贺生日pary……一些工薪阶层的父母为了满足孩子的欲望只得勒紧裤带，那些亏损企业提前下岗的学生父母更是苦不堪言。针对这一现象，我们先是布置学生开展下一次中学生消费情况调查，让班级干部收集古今中外名人论节俭的警句和名人故事，接着，请部分家长给老师写信——亮家底、讲苦衷、提希望。有位语文老师举行了一次有学生家长、兄弟班学生代表共同参加的报告会，同学们在听了一名亏损企业下岗职工讲他为了使读初中的儿子不在同学们面前“掉碴儿”而节衣缩食的事例后，一个个惭愧地流下了眼泪。报告会之后，这个班向全校学生提出了“生活节俭，不向父母提出过份要求”的倡议，同学们纷纷自觉执行，在全校引起强烈的反响。

二、引导学生仿效榜样，学会尊敬父母

“敬”是“孝”的重要内容。我国古代大教育家孔子认为：“今之孝者，是谓能养，至于大马，皆能有养，不敬，何以别乎！”这句话的意思是，对于父母，不仅要“养”，更要“敬”，否则与犬马无异。现在的中学生多为独生子女，多被父母视为掌上明珠，他们对父母缺乏应有的尊敬和礼貌。家访时，一个因患脑溢血而致半身不遂的家长曾声泪俱下他讲述了她的孩子张×嫌她在邻居面前丢人现眼，经常在家摔盘子、砸碗，甚至为出窝囊气而对母亲拳打脚踢。了解到这一情况后，我们有意识地安排张×担任“纪念母亲节专刊”的编辑，让他在课外时间接集一组名人孝亲的故事，这一期班刊摘登了房玄龄为继母尽孝、陈毅亲手为病母洗尿布等古今名人孝亲敬母的故事。在母亲节这一天，我们又让同学们每人讲一个在家“孝”、“敬”父母的实例，再由班干部对他们“孝”、“敬”的言行作出评价。一次次地“旁敲侧击”，对张×触动很大。与此同时，我们还让班上几个勤快的女生星期天轮流到张×家为他母亲洗衣裤、床单，打扫卫生。第二学期，我们再次家访时，张×的母亲拉着我的手夸她儿子“变了，变得像换了个人似的。”

三、激励学生多做家务，学会关心父母

古人云：情其四肢，不顾父母之养，一不孝也。现在的父母为了子女更专心于学业上的竞争、包揽了一切家务，以至于大多数中学生“高分低能”，自理能力弱，有些学生习惯于父母对自己的悉心照顾，却很少关心整日为自己操劳的父母。为了促使学生将孝敬父母的道德观念转变为关心父母的道德行为，让“孝”与“敬”能真正落后到实处，我们设计了一份学生在家操行“一日规”，其中包括每天早起必须自己叠被，自己收拾房间，自己烧早餐。还有必须自己动手刷鞋、洗袜子和内衣裤。实行“双休日”后，又制定了“双休日家务劳动安排表”。内容包括帮父母买菜，打扫家庭卫生。暑假里我精心设计了假期作文题，如《我给妈妈当帮手》、《我学会了……》、《今天，自己也露一手》。目的在于让学生写自己亲手做的事、亲身经历与感受。新学期开学时，一些家长对我说他们的孩子变得懂事了，在家里没事找事干，有事抢着干。

四、抓住契机，适时对学生进行“孝心”教育
