1、学会准确把握时态。英语写作首先要明确整篇作文的时态一致，许多学生在确定时态这一步就出现了错误，总是在写作过程中出现时而一般现在时，时而一般过去时，时而又用将来时，这就造成整篇文章时态混乱，给阅卷老师一种非常不舒服的印象。因此英语作文时态的确定非常重要。

2、注意人称，保证主谓一致。英语写作的时候，如果文章已经确定了用一般现在时，主语定为第三人称，这个时候应该注意主谓一致，需要避免用了与题意不符的人称，其实在写英语作文的时候，对于人称的运用是有规律的，如果在写作要求中有“假如你是……”的时候应该用第一人称，如果要求中是“请介绍……”的时候应该用第三人称，或者要求中有“假如你和小明是朋友……”的时候应该用第一人称与第三人称。

3、写作之前，先打草稿。从今年开始全国多省开始采取网上阅卷的方式来判定考生成绩，这就对考生的卷面整洁程度以及书写习惯有了更高的要求，由于是机器扫描答题卡，所以考生的答题卡是不准有撕扯和涂改痕迹的，因此对于卷面整洁规范的考生来说，可能会占有一定的优势。尤其是卷面整洁美观的考卷一般都会得分高一点，所以由此看来在真正下笔写作之前最好先打个草稿，当确定了写作内容以后再进行誊写，这样既可以避免出现思路混乱的状况，还可以避免错别字的失误。

二、理清思路，切莫使用汉语式英语

根据近期的英语模拟考试情况来看，出现了许多的中国式英语的表达方式，这些情况的出现主要是因为学生的英语基础本就不好，又由于没有英语口语环境，加之汉语语法的持续影响，造成了出现了如下的表达：

开门见山的写作方法在英语中是很明智的一种表达方式，精彩并且简洁明了的开头，能够给阅卷老师一个很好的印象。文章中间只要平铺直述，做到有条理不要出现人称语法的失误就好。对于结尾也要做到像开头一样的精彩，做到掷地有声，把自己的观点再次强调，这样就可以令整篇文章显得思路清晰，观点明确。

为了增加开头的精彩程度，可以采取运用英语谚语当做开头的手法，比如：It is said that…，There is a famous saying that …，As one coin has two sides。同样也可以采用常规句式：It is + adj. + to do sth，As we all know等等。

对于结尾要出现带有总结性的表达，并且是较有水准的一些词汇，比如：In my opinion， In a word， Finally等等，这样可以增加印象分，让阅卷老师认为写出这种文章的学生是具有一定英语功底的学生，因此能够拿到更高的分数。

四、融洽使用短语、连词等提高文章质量

英语文章的表达虽然在语法等方面和中文有所区别，但是想要表达的感情和文章整体性的要求还是基本相同的，所以不管是写中文文章还是英语文章都要注意连贯性。在开始写文章之前都需要有一个大致的写作思路，让文章在脑海里形成一个整体，避免出现提笔就写，想到什么写什么，最终使整篇文章有种支离破碎的感觉。然而想要做到让文章流畅显得有层次感，不仅需要写作思路清晰，还需要有适当的短语和连词的支撑。让文章给人一种浑然一体的感觉需要这些连词的帮助：First， second ，third， and， but， then， suddenly， at last， because， thanks to， in other words， what s more， in a word等，由此增强文章的专业性，给文章加分。

五、避免发生语法错误等低级错误

对于英语写作来说，保证语法的准确性是最基本的。如果英语写作中出现语法错误，那错误就像写中文作文出现将“他喜欢吃。”表述成“他吃喜欢。”一样的令人捧腹。所以一定不要在英语写作中出现语法错误，这种错误是非常低级的错误，它的出现会令你本来很精彩的文章整体下降多个档次。所以我们需要在平时多多练习写作，保证自己的文章质量。
